My first investment in the stock market from my coin collection.The initial investment in the stock market was the shares of stocks I bought from an oil company. During the 80's, an oil company made a tender offer at an affordable price per share, so I decided to buy 200 shares of stocks.I was issued a certificate for the 200 shares which earned me dividends and additional shares as soon as the company declared cash and stock dividends. That was the first income I earned after a year of purchase from my coins that I saved.
